Welcome to the new CarAuctionWatch YouTube channel covering the collector car auction market. I'll be covering all years, makes and models of cars from auctions on eBayMotors, RM Sotheby's, Barrett-Jackson, Mecum, Gooding and Company, Russo and Steele and more. While I'm a lifelong enthusiasts and have my own favorite makes and models, I also want to cover the cars that you are interested in, so please add your requests and comments below and I'll cover them on a first come, first serve basis. How to Sell Your Collector Car on eBay

I began buying and selling cars on eBay when eBay Motors launched in 2000. Since then, not many days have gone by that I haven't checked in on my watched auctions and saved searches. It's become a hobby that I now do on a daily basis in about 15 minutes or less.
I've also helped many collectors successfully sell their cars quickly for market value to buyers both nearby and across the country. Being a car enthusiast and web developer I became quite good at it, so good that collectors from all over would contact me to help them sell their cars.
Along the way, I've learned what makes for a successful car auction on eBay versus what makes for an under-performing auction that might require several relistings and might not ever result in a sale. Indeed, welcome.  Over the coming weeks, months and years, this blog will report regularly on the collector car auction market.  I will report on both general market conditions as well as specific make and model trends.  Each post will contain interesting information, detailed photos and historical valuation graphs, along with historic and modern videos when possible.

Along the way I will take requests on which years, makes and models to cover next.  Over on the companion YouTube channel to this blog, I will review and report weekly on the interesting and important auctions crossing the block on eBay and elsewhere.  When practical, I will test drive collector cars and write my impressions.
